How to set up your competitor profile — name, date of birth, emergency contact, and what happens if you're under 18.
Your participant profile stores the information organizers need to register you in competitions. You create it once and it travels with you across all events.
Go to livescoreboard.app and click Sign Up. When prompted for account type, choose Participant.
After sign-up you'll be taken through a short completion flow to create your profile.
Your account is free. Participants never pay to use LiveScoreboard.
Required:
Optional but recommended:
Emergency contact information is only visible to organizers of events you register for — it's not shown publicly.
When you enter a date of birth that makes you a minor (under 18), you'll see an optional field for a guardian email address. Entering it sends an invitation to your parent or guardian.
Once a guardian approves your account, your profile is fully active. You can still register for events before approval — the guardian link is for compliance purposes and doesn't block you from competing.
See Approving Your Child's Account for what happens on your guardian's side.
You can update any profile field at any time from Profile in the top navigation. Your changes apply to all future events — they don't retroactively change your registration details for past events.
