How to use the guardian invitation token to claim a minor's account and give your consent.
When your child creates a participant profile and enters your email as their guardian, you receive an invitation email. This guide walks you through approving their account.
The email comes from LiveScoreboard and includes:
Click the link. It opens the guardian claim page with your child's information pre-loaded.
The claim page shows you:
Review the information to confirm this is your child. If the details look correct, click Approve.
If the information is wrong — for example, the account belongs to someone else — do not approve. You can close the page without taking action; the invitation link will simply remain unused.
Once you approve:
Your child's profile and event registrations are otherwise unchanged — approval doesn't modify any competition data.
If you don't already have a LiveScoreboard account, you'll be asked to create one before you can approve. Your email is pre-filled from the invitation — just set a password and your account type is automatically set to Guardian.
Guardian accounts are completely free. You never pay to create a guardian account or to manage your children's profiles on LiveScoreboard.
