How to navigate the judge scoring panel, enter scores for each competitor, and submit — including keyboard shortcuts.
The scoring interface is designed for phones and tablets. Open LiveScoreboard on any browser — no app download required.
When you sign in, your dashboard shows all events you've been invited to judge. Events in Active status are ready for scoring — tap an event to open it.
If you're assigned to only one active event, you'll be taken directly to the scoring panel.
Inside the event, you'll see a list of competitors in the current category, in scoring order. Each row shows:
Tap a competitor to open their scoring panel.
The scoring panel layout depends on the scoring mode configured by the organizer:
Additive scoring — Slide or type a value for each criterion. The running total updates as you score.
Deductive scoring — Tap deduction buttons as the competitor performs. Each tap subtracts from the starting score. You can also enter a custom deduction amount.
Rubric scoring — Work through each criterion one at a time. Each criterion shows its name, description, and maximum value.
All scoring modes show a clear total score at the bottom of the panel.
When you're happy with the scores, tap Save & Next to submit and move to the next competitor automatically.
To stay on the current competitor (e.g., to review your entry), tap Save instead.
If you're scoring on a laptop or keyboard:

You can re-open a competitor you've already scored and change your entry at any time while the event is Active. The updated score takes effect immediately.
That's fine. You can tap any competitor on the list regardless of their position. The organizer controls the official scoring order on their end.
