Create your organization, set up your first event, add participants, invite judges, and go live — in under 10 minutes.
This guide walks you through your first competition from account creation to a live scoreboard on your venue screen.
Go to livescoreboard.app and sign up. When asked for your account type, choose Organizer.
After sign-up, you'll be prompted to select a plan. All plans include a 60-day money-back guarantee — you can upgrade or request a refund at any time.
Your organization is the top-level container for all your events. Give it your club, school, or federation name — this name appears in judge invitations and on the TV display.
Navigate to Admin → Organization and fill in your details.
From the Admin Dashboard, click Create Event. You'll be asked to:

Categories are the divisions within your event — for example, "Junior Female 8–10", "Open Hip Hop", or "Bantamweight". For each category you configure:
In the Participants tab of your event, you can add competitors two ways:
Participants are assigned to categories from the same tab.
In the Judges tab, click Invite Judge and enter an email address. The judge receives a secure invitation email. Once they accept and create their account, they appear as active on your event.
You can designate one judge as the Lead Judge — they have additional responsibilities in match formats. For standard scoring events, all judges are equal.
Before going live, grab the TV Display URL from your event settings. Open it on any device connected to your venue screen — no login required. The display shows the live leaderboard and updates automatically as judges score.
Set the event status to Active. Judges will see the event appear in their scoring interface and can start scoring immediately.
That's it — results update live on the display as each competitor is scored.
