Registering for Events

Events listed on LiveScoreboard are published by organizers — clubs, federations, and schools that use the platform to run competitions. You can browse and register without needing an invite.

Finding events

Click Events in the top navigation (or go to /events). The page lists all competitions that are currently open for registration. Each card shows:

• Event name and organizing club
• Date and location
• Status: Upcoming (registration open) or In Progress (already underway)

You don't need to be logged in to browse the event list.

Registering

Click on an event to open its detail page. If registration is open, you'll see a Register for This Event button.

You must be signed in to register. If you're not, the page offers buttons to sign in or create an account — after that you'll be returned to the event.

Participant accounts are completely free. You never pay to create a profile or register for events on LiveScoreboard.

Filling in the registration form

The registration form asks for:

1. Your name — pre-filled from your profile
2. Date of birth and phone — pre-filled if on your profile
3. Team or club — optional, pre-filled from your profile
4. Category selection — check all categories (divisions, weight classes, age groups) you want to compete in. You must select at least one.
5. Emergency contact — name, phone, and relationship. Pre-filled from your profile if you added one.

When you submit, you're registered in all selected categories.

After registering

You'll see a confirmation message on the event page and the event will appear in your dashboard under Upcoming Events.

Your status in the event starts as Registered. The organizer updates your status as the event progresses (checked-in, competing, finalized).

Event is closed or completed

If an event is no longer accepting registrations, the registration form won't appear. The event will show a note indicating it's closed or already completed.
